Square Enix is a Japanese videogame developer and publisher formed from the merge of Square and Enix. It owns ten development studios, referred to as Product Development Divisions. It has developed for Microsoft Windows and several major home and handheld consoles, including the Nintendo DS, PlayStation consoles, Xbox 360, and Wii. Its notable franchises include Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Dragon Quest.
